Genre is a type, style or category of film.What i have learned is that there are many types of genres such as action, adventure, horror, romance, sci-fi thriller and more.

What is a narrative?
A narrative is the way a film is set out. You can get two narratives, one linear or non linear. Linear is when the story is in order and non-linear is when the story is not in order, it starts later in the story and starts at the begging again.
